Great place to eat in kutztown! The food is just as much a reason to go as the baked goods. A breakfast and lunch menu are available, and the prices are really good. Pictured are the brisket egg sandwich and the strawberries & cream french toast. Definitely recommend if you are in the area! A great new Staple in Kutztown.

What a GREAT little gem in downtown K'town!! Stopped in for breakfast after passing our usual breakfast spot because it was too crowded, and SO happy we did! The atmosphere and staff were friendly and welcoming, the home-cooked meals were delicious and reasonably-priced, and we snagged a few baked goodies to take home. (Try the chocolate cinnamon roll... you won't be disappointed!) The cupcakes were all kinds of creative and equally delicious!( Would've LOVED to have had a place like this when I was on campus... will definitely be back!! :)

Amazing food & excellent customer service. I literally cannot say enough good things about this place! We had a last minute work function that we needed catered and The Cottage Bakery pulled through with the most delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries! They were extremely attentive, and, they even delivered! I highly recommend The Cottage Bakery and Cafe!

Had a fabulous brunch here. They have a wonderful and reasonably priced menu with a great assortment of options. We also got a cupcake from the display case and they are gorgeous! The interior of the cafe is so cute and I love the color scheme. Congrats to this business and we will be back!

This was my first time going and the lady at the register was so kind. She was helpful with deciding what I would like best. The cake tasted great! The only suggestion I would have is to open later and close later. It was not as near as busy as it should be and I think this has to do with the hours, especially in a college town. But aside from that it was a great little dessert spot!

Let me tell you!!!! I walked into this small unassuming bakery in the heart of kutztown and was absolutely blown away! Everything is flawless! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a hearty smile and a cacophony of wonderful bakery aromas. But let me get down to brass tacks here. The smoked brisket breakfast sandwich on brioche with cheddar is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Please don’t take this review lightly. That was not a hyperbole. I repeat ……. The best I have ever had in my 35 years of life on this planet. The brioche was incredible, light buttery, and eggy just like it should be! And they toasted in butter on the flattop. The brisket was divine….literally sent by the gods! I’m sure of it. It was also seared locking in all of the juices. There was a BBQ sauce on the brisket but it wasn’t overpowering the natural flavors of the brisket. The egg was cooked to a perfect medium consistency,which in my opinion is perfect for a breakfast Sammy. So go see them get a breakfast sandwich, muffin, cake, pie, or whatever they have in the display I’m sure it is all incredible and I will be sampling it all over the coming weeks.
